Transcripts
Contact the Registrar's Office of every college or university you've attended before coming to Stony Brook to request your transcript(s).
Send Electronic (PDF Preferred) to: transfer_office@stonybrook.edu
Many schools use these services to send transcripts:
(Do not forward transcripts. They must be sent directly from previous school.)

College currently/previously attended
- Send a transcript from every college or university you attended as a full-time or part-time student.
- Transcript should include grades for completed courses, and any in-progress courses you are currently taking.
- If a transcript includes in-progress courses, you will need to submit a final transcript when you have final grades.
High school courses for college credit
- As a high school student - If your high school partnered with a local college or university to offer college credit – you need to send a transcript from that college or university to Stony Brook.
- Credits will only be posted to your record if the course is on a college transcript.
