CCP is proud to offer parents the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program. Our VPK program begins every day, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to Noon. In order for your child to receive the high quality benefits of this program it is essential that your child be here on time every day for the full three hours. VPK is a free service from 9:00-12:00. No fees are charged.
In the event your child will be absent please call the center so we may plan accordingly. Each child is allowed to be absent for 20% of the program year. In the event that your child exceeds the permitted absences they will be withdrawn from the VPK program at our facility. You may choose to continue your child’s care with us by using our private pay program.
This would require that you pay $172.50 (full time) $142.50 (part time 9-12) per week, along with a $125.00 registration fee; this will allow your child to remain in the same class with the same teacher. Additional optional fees: Key “FOB” $10.00 each. The program begins at 9:00 and ends at 12:00; CCP will give you a 10 minute grace period for both before and after VPK begins. In the event that your child is dropped off earlier than 8:50 or picked up after 12:10, you will be charged $40.00 and be sent to the wrap care program.
Part of the VPK program is signing your child in and out every day as well as verifying your child’s attendance at the end of each month by signing the monthly form. We expect that you will verify your child’s attendance no earlier than the last VPK day of the month and no later than ten VPK days after the end of the month.
Holiday & Non VPK Weeks $200.00 Annual Registration Fees $125.00 Children may attend the VPK program without using our wrap care, however, you should know that we do extend our instruction beyond VPK hours and your child will continue to learn while in our wrap care. In the event that circumstances arise outside of the above listed attendance violation then termination from our VPK program or our Wrap care program is at the discretion of the Director.

In recent years, researchers have learned that the human brain develops the vast majority of its neurons, and is at its most receptive to learning, between birth and five years of age. In fact, the intake of new information is critical to the formation of active neural pathways (Shonkoff & Phillips, 2000). Our enrichment classes are stimulating and fun.
